While at this time we are not aware of any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our community, people at Grace and throughout our community are understandably concerned for their personal health and that of their families and friends. Therefore, we are taking the steps listed below as together we navigate this challenging situation:
- Grace’s Kitchen. Grace’s Kitchen will be open this month from Thursday, March 26 through Saturday, March 28 and on Monday and Tuesday, March 30 and 31. In order to continue to safely feed hungry people in our neighborhood during the coronavirus pandemic, and to protect the health of our guests, volunteers and staff, take-out meals will replace seated meal service. Our guests will be met at the Cleveland Avenue door where they will sign for their meal and receive a bag of food based on our regular menu. They will not enter the building. Hand sanitizer and gloves will available for staff and volunteers to use while preparing the meals, packaging the bags and distributing them to our guests. Grace’s volunteer day is Thursday, March 26, please join us in this critical ministry. For more information, please contact Karen Moore at karen@graceplainfield.org;
